Jake Ward is an up and coming Texas Country artist based out of Corpus Christi. With his blend of classic country and modern rock, his music is taking the Texas Country music scene by storm.
Jake and his band are known for their high-energy shows and unique sound. Their music seamlessly blends together the sounds of country, rock, americana, and folk. On a given night, you can count on hearing everything from 3-part harmonies, to screaming guitar solos, some bluesy harmonica, and fan-favorite, fiddle from the talented Owen Fitzsimmons. Jake and his band bring a lot of energy to their performances and they work hard to make sure that they put on a show that won’t leave you disappointed.
Growing up, Jake Ward was surrounded by music. Starting at a very young age, Jake always knew he wanted to be a professional musician. “I started performing when I was seven years old, and I was instantly hooked.” Jake has been performing for years, but only recently did he find his band. Jake and his band are now playing all over the state, and have opened for touring acts such as: Kevin Fowler, Casey Donahew, Reckless Kelly, Uncle Lucius, Bri Bagwell, and the list goes on!
Jake and his band’s dreams are starting to take flight. Their first single ever released to radio, “Hit The Road,” landed in the top 20’s on the Texas Regional Radio Report. With the success of their first single, the band is gearing up to release a second single to radio and finish their first full length album entitled “Love Don’t Live Here.” Currently, Jake and his band are touring around the state opening up for some of the biggest names in Texas country and playing venues they have always dreamed of. Their focus right now is to get their music out there to as many people as they can and just have fun doing what they love; making music and entertaining.
Jake and his band are looking forward to seeing what the future has in store for them. They have played shows all over, but “the best is yet to come,” says Jake. Jake Ward has only just begun his musical career, and with his musical talents and work ethic, he is going to be around for a long time.
